    Deed and Map Retrievals

    A copy of the present owner deed and the tax map and or filed map corresponding to the property is a useful tool for many surveyors and appraisers. That provides valuable information for prospective buyers of both commercial and residential properties.

    What is a Deed and Map Retrieval?

    With this service, you’ll receive a full copy of the present-owner deed for the property you’re interested in. That alone will contain important information about the block and lot number, property dimensions, and often a metes-and-bounds (traceable on the map) description. It also includes information on whom the property was purchased from, the purchase date and price, and often data on when the seller(s) purchased the property prior to selling.

    Maps provided include not only the tax assessor’s official map of the property, but (if available) copies of special maps on file at the county register’s office.
